Dr. Terry McDonald
Dr. Richard McLaughlin completed his orthodontic training at the University of Southern California in 1976. Since then he has been in the full time practice of orthodontics in San Diego, California. He lectures extensively in the United States as well as internationally.

He is a member of the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and the Southern California Component Director of the Edward H. Angle Society.

In addition, Dr. McLaughlin is a clinical professor at the University of Southern California, Department of Orthodontics in Los Angeles, California, an assistant professor at Loma Linda University, Department of Orthodontics, and an associate professor at St. Louis University, Department of Orthodontics.






Dr. G. William Arnett graduated with honors from the University of Southern California Dental School and the University of California at Los Angeles in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He practiced comprehensive oral surgery until 1985, when he limited his practice strictly to facial reconstruction and research.

As a lecturer and clinical instructor, Dr. Arnett trains both orthodontic and surgical residents for UCLA, USC, UCSF and Loma Linda University. He has been the featured speaker nationally and internationally in all aspects of orthognathic surgery, where his topics have included facial esthetics, surgical stability, and successful orthodontic and surgical treatment planning. He has published numerous papers, and his two part paper entitled, "Facial Keys to Orthodontic Diagnosis and Treatment Planning", received the Helen E. Dewel Clinical Orthodontic Award for paper of the year by the AAO in 1993. In 2003, he coauthored a textbook with Dr. McLaughlin entitled, "Facial and Dental Planning for Orthodontists and Oral Surgeons".






Dr. Terry McDonald completed his orthodontic training at the University of Michigan. Since then he has been in the full time practice of orthodontics in Salem, Oregon.

He is a member of the Oregon State Society of Orthodontics and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and has served as president of both organizations. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, and has been actively involved in numerous AAO projects, such as the Council on Communications (a member and chairman) and the 2002 Early Treatment Conference (chairman). He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and has served as an examiner on the American Board. He is a member of the Edward H. Angle Society, and has served as president of the Northwest Component and as program chairman of the 1999 Biennial meeting. In 2004, he received the prestigious Brophy Award from the AAO at the annual meeting in Orlando, Florida. Currently Dr. McDonald is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Oregon, Department of Orthodontics.



Dr. Richard P. McLaughlin has been practicing orthodontics and encouraging continuing education for almost 30 years.
